What's in Green2O? Grape Seed Extract!

This week, I am researching the Liv International product called Green2O. Most people refer to it simply as the "green drink," because it is dark green in color. It is a powder mix that you combine with water for a surprisingly refreshing drink. (I say "surprisingly" because that green color can be a little off-putting at first, although you forget all about it once you taste Green2O.) You can get a lemony or a minty version of this healthy drink, and there's no harm in drinking it all day long.

One of the major ingredients in Green2O is grape seed extract. This substance comes from (you guessed it) the seeds of grapes. Grape seeds are full of powerful antioxidants and other cancer-inhibiting nutrients. Studies have shown that grape seed extract can help treat high blood pressure and lower inflammation. If you're worried about high cholesterol, grape seed extract helps with that, too.

Grape seed extract is used medicinally throughout Europe and it is also an ingredient in many pharmaceuticals. No long-term studies have tested the safety of grape seed extract, but many short-term studies suggest that it is great for you.
